The follow-up most businesses forget
Most businesses work hard for a first sale, then go quiet. The week after someone buys is when they're deciding whether you were a good choice.
Put a reminder in your calendar for a few days after each new customer's purchase, and send a short, personal note:
Hi [Name], just checking in on [what they bought]. Is everything working the way you hoped? If anything's off, reply here and I'll sort it out.
No offer, no discount, no newsletter pitch. Just a real question.
If they reply with a problem, you've caught it before it turns into a quiet cancellation. If they reply happy, you've got a warm conversation, and that's the natural spot to mention what else you can help with later on.
